Local Design Services and Install

 
  • It depends on the size and complexity of the space. Design fee starts at $199.

    And this also includes up to 2 DIY closet vendor bids and one from our preferred local vendor, Closet Crafters, that includes install.

    The fee covers my design expertise and my connections with top nationwide vendors to give you the best deals and quick turnaround to transform your closet.

    Most closet vendors offer free design or free software to design your closet. But I take the guesswork out of the design to make sure you are maximizing every inch of your closet. As well as taking away the headache of researching and scheduling multiple appointments for these estimates.

    This way you are moving forward with the project quickly and seamlessly!

  • It depends on size, material color and accessory choices of the closet. A small Reach In Closet would start around $1,500

  • If you are ready to have your space transformed, it probably means you are also tired of dealing with your current system, or lack of. Redesigning the space can gain your more storage, more space inside the room, easier to keep organized and create more functionality.

  • During the design consultation, I will measure your space, take inventory of what will be stored in the space and discuss your goals and functionality of the space. This consultation usually takes no more than 30 mins to 1 hour.

  • 3-5 business days from the day of your design consultation.

    3. Once a contract is signed and a 50% deposit is received, install dates are 6-8 weeks out.

  • Closet Crafters out of Santa Rosa CA.

  • Purge & Place partners with Closet Crafters, a local premium closet company that will install your system for you.

    If you prefer to DIY your closet, Purge & Place will provide up to 2 bids from recommended DIY closet companies.

  • It depends on the existing system. A standard shelf and rod is included with the install of your closet. If a more custom system is in place, there may be a fee for tear out and patchwork. Clients can also choose to take on this part of the project themselves to save on costs.

  • If your purchased our closet design and organizing services, the amount of time/sessions will depend on the space itself. We will first setup declutter/purge session(s) before the new closet is installed. And then a follow up session after the new closet system is installed to organize your inventory back into the new space. The time between our declutter session and the install of your closet, we will organize your closet back using the existing system.

 

Virtual Design & Organizing

  • First we will setup a Zoom call for you to show us your space and discuss your goals. Next , we will send you two forms to fill out; a measurement form and an inventory form. Once we receive these forms, we will get started on the design!

  • There are many choices when it comes to a custom closet system. After we design the space, we will provide you with 2 vendor estimates based on your budget and install preferences. You will also receive the original design that you can submit to other vendors in your area for a bid.

  • Yes!

  • Unlimited!

  • With Virtual Organizing we connect via Zoom and you will share your space with us, letting us know what is not working for you. From there we will discuss a plan and will email you a product recommendation list if needed for the space. Each session is 1 hour long and you can book as many sessions as you need to complete the space.

  • Must definitely! We can utilize the one hour session however you want. We can chat for an hour on a plan of attack for the space and after our session, you can tackle the space on your own. Or we can start in the space and I coach you through the steps while on the call with you. Whichever way you feel the most comfortable doing!

  • Virtual Organizing is not for everyone. VO is perfect for:

    • DIYers

    • Clients who want to work in the space by themselves and simply need a game plan.

    • Clients who can work on the project by themselves but need an accountability partner to keep them on task and finish the project.

 

In Home Organizing

  • A Professional Home Organizer is someone that helps you to overcome clutter and disorganization to make your life less stressful and your time, more efficient.

  • A Professional Home Organizer not only helps you organize your mess, but they also create easy-to-follow systems to help keep it that way. They are there to help you through the entire process or to get down and dirty and do everything themselves. They are there to sit, sort, clean, file, de-clutter, and de-stress to help make your home a better place to live.

  • EVERYTHING! You will find yourself having more time, less stress, you will know where everything is located (which saves time and huge headaches), and it will make your life easier and, more importantly, happier. Your environment plays a huge part on your attitude, outlook, and even blood pressure levels. When it’s in disarray, that will reflect and play an immediate part on your life. It makes life so much simpler when your environment is organized, clean, and it’s easy to find things.

  • Home Organizing is an add on feature to our design services both In Home and Virtually. We help design/organize in closets, garage, pantry, offices and playrooms to name a few. The areas we don’t service design/organizing is in the kitchen/bath.

  • It’s entirely up to you. If you don’t want to touch a thing, you don’t have to. But, if you or anyone else wants to help, it’ll get the job done faster, and in the end, save you money. Also, I offer Virtual Organizing if you know you want to organize your space on your own, you just need accountability or a place to start!

  • We first start with a free Discovery call to get to know each other and for us to understand your needs and how we can help you.

    If we are a good fit for you and you want to move forward with a design consultation, there is a non refundable fee of $199.

  • I come and evaluate the space(s) as-is and formulate a plan of action. Then, we will discuss what problems you have with the space(s), what you would like to see change, and what is currently working for you. I will also take measurements of the space to start the design process.

  • You bet! All meeting, conversations, and questions are between you and I, and no one else.

  • Rates are per project. After reviewing photos of the space, I will be able to provide you an estimate of hours. Minimum in home organizing session is $225.

  • Sure thing! There is a minimum of 3 hours for each session.
